Child of God

Yesterday we talked about the importance of our identity. In Christ we’ve been made new and give a brand new identity. Jesus came into this world to save sinners and all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Now we’ve been born again into the family of God. We are children of God. Romans 8:15-16 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God…”
* How do we answer those who claim the power of the Holy Spirit gives us the power to keep the law? What about those who claim physical healing based on Isaiah 53? * Roman asks if it’s OK to drink alcohol as a Christian?

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
