The death, the burial, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the good news. It’s the good news that happened 2,000 years ago. And when you hear the good news and make it your story “Christ in you” becomes your story. Peter talks about this in his first letter. “As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 2:5-6 * How could false teachers destroy believers – God’s temple?
