Where did these manmade religions come into being? We need to go back to the beginning… to the story of Adam and Eve and the fall. Upon finding themselves naked they sewed fig leaves together and made loin cloths. They were trying to cover their shame from God. But it didn’t work. Only God was able to make the provision for their sin and for ours.
* The people who were baptized by Philip in water in “the name” of Jesus Christ, were they saved? Or, were they saved only after John and Peter laid their hands on them to receive the Holy Spirit?
