Religion vs. Christianity

Christianity is not a religion; it’s a relationship with Jesus Christ. As believers in Christ, we know God the Father. We know firsthand, from heart experience, that God is love. Religion can’t open the door to relationship. Religion can’t cleanse us from the inside. God is always interested in the heart. Mark 7:14 says there is nothing from the outside that can defile us because it doesn’t go into the heart. * UNITED October 15-17, 2021 https://basicgospel.net/united/ * How are we supposed to hold onto our faith?
