Jesus’ Claims

Do you know what you believe about the death, burial, and resurrection? It’s the Gospel story. But, why is it relevant to you? Jesus died for our sins in accordance to scriptures. Jesus was buried. Proof of death is necessary for a will to go into effect; therefore, the New Covenant is in effect. Why was Jesus raised? It is proof that all of his claims about himself are true. It also means that we, too, are raised to walk in the newness of life. * UNITED: Message | Purpose | Mission * Lynne asks for clarification on 1 Corinthians 3:5-12 concerning Heaven.
* Would these truths be considered “milk” or “solid” as Paul talks about in Hebrews 5?
* How would you address a church that still preaches that Baptism is “an act of obedience”, especially to youth?
* Is the sermon on the mount and its commandments part of the Old Covenant? Or are we free from those also?
