Grace and Peace

Paul started every letter the same way. Grace and peace to you… Paul had learned that the peace of God – the common greeting Shalom – was only available when you experienced the grace of God. The grace of God ushers the peace of God into your lives.
* Jeremiah 7:23 “children of Israel”. Were the people of Israel considered God’s children before Jesus, or were the scriptures pointing forward to the future? * Do we receive the promises of the New Covenant by faith?
