Grace and Mercy in Your Time of Need

In Hebrews 4 we read some very comforting passages: “Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.” Jesus, our high priest, lived here on earth as one of us and withstood the temptations of the world. He is able to sympathize with us. He knows exactly what we are going through. Hebrews 4:14-16 * Tracy calls about how God showed up in his life through the bad times.
* Can y’all explain Matthew 7:6? “Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.” * What does the Bible have to say about blame and guilt?

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
