Christ at Work in You

We woke up this morning to an ice covered DFW. Due to the icy roads there was a huge 100+ vehicle wreck that claimed 9 people’s lives and our hearts go out to them and their families along with the many other injured in the accident.
* “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:12-13
* What do you think about the coronavirus vaccine. Is it against the teachings of Jesus? * After we’re saved how does James fit in? “Faith without works is dead.”
* Mary Jo asks about the perfume in an alabaster jar. Was it poured upon Jesus’ head or feet?

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
