The Bread of Life

Jesus underscores who he is in the seven “I am” statements. Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.” John 6:35 He said this just after he fed the 5,000. We have this spiritual hunger inside of us. But it can’t be satisfied by worldly things. It can only be satisfied when we receive Jesus Christ by faith.
* Did Nathaniel understand: “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.” John 1:51 * I pray a lot is it the same as calling upon the name of the Lord to be saved? * Does Acts 2:38 suggest that water baptism was a requirement for salvation?

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13.
