Can We Forgive Sins?

What did Jesus mean when he said “If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven”? John 20:23 is not a passage that gives us the authority to give or withhold forgiveness. The Bible is clear that only God can forgive. It’s really a message about delivering the good news.
