Rejoice in the New Covenant

We’re celebrating Holy Week this week. We’re celebrating the events that led up to the ushering in of the New Covenant. We’re looking at how the sacrifice of Jesus Christ impacted our story. “When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table. And he said to them, ‘I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. 16 For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God.’ … This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me. … This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.” Luke 22:14-15,19-20 * Why don’t we put blood on the door post like the Israelites did?
* I know GOD loves me, I really do, but I can’t get rid of this fear. Is God mad at me for the way I am? * How was Jacob a servant in Isaiah 45:4?
* Was Peter fated to deny Jesus three times? Will we be tested like Peter?

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
