God’s Desire for Us

God’s desire in the work of the cross was to reconcile us back to himself. “All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation … For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:17-21
* I feel the lord is disappointed in me because I don’t attend church and don’t read his word every day. How can I feel better about that?
* Charles asks about the resurrection of the body. Do believers go directly to Heaven?
* Does the word “crucified” mean that Paul and all born-again Christians are literally crucified? Or is it speaking figuratively that we are crucified?

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
