Life Plus Forgiveness

It’s MLK Day today – the day we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr’s life and legacy. For any of us to engage in what MLK Jr. was fighting for we have to come to Jesus first so we can see each other from God’s perspective. As I wrote in Simple Gospel, Simply Grace, “Life plus forgiveness equals freedom.” And Paul stated, “From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer.” 2 Corinthians 5:16 * Where do we draw the line concerning behavior among believers? * Are the levels in Heaven and why?

* What did Paul mean in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 “we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep”?
* Concerning salvation… what about the eunuch who asked to be baptized or the centurion?

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
