Larry Alex Taunton joins us today to give his take on the word “courage” as it relates to Christianity. Joseph had to show great courage to accept the angel’s pronouncement. Mary showed incredible courage to step out in faith and offer her body to God so that Jesus could be born. Why is there not a lot of courage today? A lot of it has to do with the fact that Christians have confused Christ’s call to be salt and light with civility. Even social media influences our reluctance to show courage and speak truth.
