And You Shall Name Him Jesus

“And you shall name him Jesus.” These were the words from the angel to Joseph. And this had great meaning. The Hebrew word for Jesus means the Lord’s salvation. “To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” Acts 10:43 That’s the good news. When you confess with your mouth and believe with your heart you receive Jesus. And when you receive Jesus you receive forgiveness of sin. * Is waiting and trusting God one and the same?
