The “Why” of Christmas

This month we’ll be focusing on Jesus and the Christmas story. So many know parts of the story, but too many still don’t know the “why” of the story. John spells out the “why” in his Gospel. “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. … grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” John 1:14-18 * Where is the passage, “God desires that none should perish”? * Robin calls to share her thankfulness for God’s healing.
* When I confess my sins to God do I have to remember every little thing that I did, or is it good enough to confess what I know and accept that God will forgive me for the things I didn’t remember to bring before Him?
* As a New Covenant Christian am I required to attend church since my salvation is not based on this and grace is freely given.

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
