One of the benefits of the Gospel is that we can rest. We look at the story of creation. Man was created on the 6th day and on the 7th day, God rested. Man entered into a relationship with God in rest. When we receive the good news we rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ. “there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from his works as God did from his. “Hebrews 4:9,10
