Jesus Our Savior

If this Gospel is going to make sense to us we really need to understand why we need a savior. So many look to Jesus as an example. But we don’t need and example – we need a savior. The angels announced his birth, “Today I bring you good news — a savior is born in Bethlehem.” Paul gives the most vivid depiction of our condition in Ephesians 2:1 — “And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once walked …”. We “were by nature children of wrath”.
* If Paul holds the key and he wrote the book of Hebrews, then what are the keys that Jesus Christ holds? Are they the same keys? * Anthony asks about addiction and salvation.
* Sometimes when I go on my knees and pray, I feel empty. It seems like God is not hearing my prayers.
* What is the difference between walking in THE truth and walking in truth in 3 John 3, 4?

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
