The Jail Cell Is Open

“After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said, ‘I thirst.’ A jar full of sour wine stood there, so they put a sponge full of the sour wine on a hyssop branch and held it to his mouth. When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, ‘It is finished,’ and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.” John 19:28-30 These are some of the most powerful words in the world. We’re celebrating the death of Jesus and we’re also celebrating our old selves being crucified in Him.
* A friend of mine told me about Basic Gospel a couple months ago. I’ve become a regular listener and wanted you guys to know that what you do is truly a blessing to many. * Jay wants to know if his parents will be reunited in Heaven. * At what point is a wife to cover or expose her husband’s sin?
* Please explain Matthew 24:13 “But the one who endures to the end will be saved.”

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
