The Resurrection and The Life

Easter is coming up soon and we’re looking at the Gospel – the death, the burial, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. As Jesus looked toward Calvary he received news that his friend Lazarus was sick. Instead of coming quickly he stayed away and he did so for a purpose. To show that we have hope of something more. “I am the resurrection and the life.” This is one of the seven “I am” statements Jesus makes – all pointing to our hearts.
* Is anything mentioned in scripture about church groups being involved with politics?
* Why did God put the Ten Commandments in place since he is all knowing and knew that Jesus would come to save us from sin?
* Can you elaborate on 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 regarding those who sleep in death. Are believers who have passed on waiting in sleep until His coming?

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
