The Unexpected

What does God do when he shows up in someone’s life? He does the unexpected. He shows up in Abraham’s life and brings blessings and promises. And we receive the blessings and promises through Jesus Christ who has fulfilled them. We read that in Galatians 3 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us–for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”– so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith. Gal 3:13,14 * Gene asks about a new believer’s actions after they are saved? * Will God save Jewish people?
* How can we reach those who give up something for Lent with the freedom in Christ?
* Shouldn’t we keep the Ten Commandments, especially the Sabbath, to help our relationship with God?
