We live in a New Covenant that Jesus Christ ushered in for us 2,000 years ago. But there is an Old Covenant called the Mosaic Covenant. And that covenant was bilateral which means that each party had conditions to meet. We read in Exodus 24:3 after Moses read all the words of the covenant the people responded, “All the words that the Lord has spoken we will do.”. But soon after they violated the covenant. In the New Covenant it unilateral. God declared it and we benefit. We are the recipients of His work for us. * Are there levels in Hell?
