Those believers who have truly received Jesus Christ are eternally secure. Every person added to the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit is eternally secure. But not all believe this. So the Holy Spirit ministers to our spirit that we are His. Paul put it this way: “For I am sure (convinced) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38, 39
