He’s the Real Thing

Don’t go into 2019 missing the real thing. The real thing is the person of Jesus Christ. Colossians 2:16-19 “Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. …” People often feel empty even though they are following all the religious rituals and activities that they think are necessary in order to live the Christmas life. But, the truth is those are just shadows. The substance of faith is only found in Jesus Christ. In Him, you are made complete. The answers for the human heart are all found in the real One, Jesus Christ. If you are feeling that something is missing in the very depth of your soul, open your heart and receive Jesus Christ. Once you have been made complete in Him, your search will be over and you will be free to grow in your knowledge of Him. * Richard asks about sowing and reaping in regard to Jacob’s deception.
* Bob on Facebook asks about 1 Corinthians 2:7 and Acts 2:20 speaking to the hidden wisdom of God.
* Since the New Covenant began at the cross, what exactly is meant by “the first one obsolete” in Hebrews 8:13?

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
