Released from the Law

2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” We are made free from sin. We are made free from the law. You are not under the law, but under grace. Under grace we’re motivated to live upright lives. When we’re talking about “grace” we’re not talking about an “it” we’re talking about the very person of Jesus Christ. The life we live is a life by the Spirit and we can freely enjoy the abundant life he has given us.
* My older brother lives a life beyond his means and is asking for my help. Should I help him or not? * Do we have to keep the commandments and the law? What does God expect of us?
* I heard you talk about Galatians 5:4 a couple days ago. Does falling away from grace mean you’ve lost your salvation?

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
