A Servant of Christ

One of the great blessings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is freedom from the opinions of other people. Too often we allow those opinions to influence and control us. That’s what Peter was doing when Paul confronted him in Antioch. Galatians 2:11-17 In Galatians 1:10 Paul writes: “For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
* A caller asks about a preacher being more responsible about teaching the Gospel — even losing his salvation… 1 Corinthians 9:27 “But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.” * Margie calls to say “thank you for speaking the truth”.

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
