You Are Free Indeed

Alice Johnson was released from prison yesterday after receiving a pardon from President Trump. To see her reaction to being set free is a reminder of the release from bondage we experience as believers. As Jesus said, “when the Son sets you free, you are free indeed”. Just as Alice Johnson will not show up at the prison doors next week asking to be put back under bondage, we believers should live free, never returning to the bondage of the law. “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1
* Cindy calls concerning satanic attacks and the comfort she’s received from Basic Gospel. * What do people mean when they say, “Jesus Christ”?
* I know the Holy Spirit hasn’t changed (just as God the Father and God the Son haven’t). But did the Holy Spirit have a different “function” before Jesus’ death, resurrection, and ascension?

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
