Living Stones

This whole week we’ve talked about the importance of Pentecost – the giving of the Holy spirit. 1 Peter 2:4-5 “As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” We are now the house of God – made new in him.
* A caller asks if we will remember our family in Heaven and if we’ll remember those who didn’t make it to Heaven. * Mary Jo is troubled that she failed to share the Gospel very well.
* Bob, I’m a little confused. I thought that Jesus cried out “my God why have you forsaken me” when He and God the father were indeed separated because God could not look at the sin Jesus bore for us.

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
