An Invitation to Rest

Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” The word “rest” has to do with an inner tranquility. It’s an invitation to rest. This is also about eternal rest – the divine rest we have in Jesus.
* Recently I heard two ministers say that the judgment of believers would take place during the tribulation period. Have you heard this? 1 John 4:17-18
* Some people say we have to continue to repent. What are we repenting from? When do we repent?
* Could you talk about 2 Timothy 3:6-7, and the passage talking about women not teaching or haivng authority over men and learning quietly?

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life.
