We live in the New Covenant today as believers in Jesus Christ. When did this covenant take effect? On the death of Christ. His death is the pivot point. Hebrews explains this in Hebrews 9:15-22 “For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance …”
