The New Commands

The resurrection effects us on a daily basis. Jesus said, “Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me…” John 14:21 So what commands are Jesus referring to? We read in Hebrews 7:12, “For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law.” The new commands are these. Believe in Jesus Christ (I John 3:23), Hope in God’s promises (1 John 3:1-3), and Love God and people. (John 13:33-34, Romans 5:5) * How can I be godly and loving to ungodly and unloving family members? * Autumn is not sure she has repented enough and is unsure of her salvation.

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
