Come to a Knowledge of the Truth

We’re on the eve of the inauguration of a new president. History in the making. The peaceful transfer of power is just miraculous to see. The previous administration will welcome the new administration. We get a chance to see the brilliance of the republic that was put into place. So what is our role in this? Paul wrote to Timothy: “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people–for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” If we’ll earnestly pray with hearts filled with gratitude and thanksgiving we can be part of the solution. * Lynn asks about predestination. Can we resist God’s will? * Daniel wonders if you should tithe from something you sell.
