Interview with Larry Alex Taunton – The Trend of “Nones”

Our guest today is Larry Alex Taunton. He is the author of The Grace Effect and The Faith of Christopher Hitchens. Larry is also the founder and executive director of the Fixed Point Foundation. Larry shares some insight into the disturbing trend of “nones” – those who have no spiritual affiliation. Larry shares his research that children who identify as atheists generally have a higher percentage of having come from broken homes. His contention is that in divorce, everything is divided-not only materially but also in spiritual attitudes. In divorce, children’s loyalty is divided and their stability in a spiritual sense is shaken to the core. The church needs to take seriously the doubts of children and to enter into scripture with them to provide solid answers in a culture that increasingly hostile to faith. For more information visit:
