A Matter of Thanksgiving with Steve Frissell

Steve Frissell joins Bob Davis and Richard Peifer to discuss prayer today. He delivered a message last year about Christian Cliches and regurgitated prayers at Bent Tree where he servers as family pastor. “For so long praying was something I had to do to get close to God. I thought God was mad at me. I no longer have to pray from a place of feeling guilty. It really is now from a place of knowing I’m forgiven, I’m loved, and I’m in relationship with God. Even the things that I pray have changed.” Knowing that Jesus has already won allows us to be truly thankful in our prayer life.

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
