A Point of Connection to Truth

1 Timothy 2:1, 2 “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people– for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” Ultimately God is still in charge. We need to have this sense of calm that God really is sovereign and we have an opportunity to participate in that. God’s will is that all will be saved and come to a knowledge of truth.
* James 5 says we should pray for one another. What’s the value of praying for each other when we can pray for ourselves? And should we pray more then once?
* Myles asks about “Doctrine of Discovery” concerning the conquering of the American continent. * Stephanie asks how she can overcome gambling.
