Our Father

This month is all about prayer. And prayer is really an extension of faith. Jesus taught his disciples “when you pray…”. It’s not an ‘if’, it is a ‘when’. When tragedy hits people pray. But what distinguishes Christian prayer from all others? It’s to whom we pray. We all know how the prayer starts: “Our Father…”. This reflects what happens when we become children of God and our hearts cry out, “Abba, Father”. * Wanda asks about “by his stripes we are healed”.
* Where do they get the title of reverend?
* Kim asks the tough question about choosing to continue medical treatment or not. Her concern is whether God would still receive her if she stops treatment.
* Nate wonders how the Kingdom of God can be here and now in the midst of the world’s depravity.

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
