An Inheritance That Can Never Perish

Redemption does come so easily because no one can live enough to pay his debt. Peter must have had this in mind when he wrote: 1 Peter 1:3, 4 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. ” So in what ways did you find your old way of life empty? * What is it about keeping our eyes on Jesus that keeps us from sin?
* Perry shares the Scripture God showed him. Romans 8:15 “The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.'”
