The Crossover – Lesson 11

John 5:24 “”Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.”Do you ever ask yourself “Why am I here?” This is a question about purpose. In the realm of darkness, purpose is where we miss the mark. We don’t live out God’s desires for us – we live for ourselves. To “cross over” from death to life is to cross over to a new purpose in life. It also means to cross over into a new identity. The moment you received Jesus Christ, you crossed over from “sinner” to “child of God”. Understanding that you are a child of God, a co-heir with Christ, and that you are righteous in God’s sight will finally allow you to cross over from bondage to freedom, guilt to gratitude, and will usher in a whole new purpose in life!
