Justification and Life

Through the 2,000 years of church history, whenever grace is fully taught people ask the same question Paul posed in Romans 6:1 “What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?” And we read in Romans 5:15 “But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!” Through one man, Jesus, justification and life was provided for all people. * I’m concerned about what I watch on TV.
* Please help me understand the difference between Christ “helping” me live the Christian life and “letting Christ do it all” through me. What does that look like practically?
* I go to a church where I am not learning and some of the teaching are confusing. If I leave the church will God be mad?
* Sharon asks about “The Road Less Traveled” concerning the “Garden of Eden” story being a myth.

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
