A Sure and Steadfast Hope

Sometimes we finder ourselves in hopeless situations. We are without hope. That’s the situation Abraham found himself in and God promised him an heir. We read in Romans 4 :18, 19 “Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead–since he was about a hundred years old–and that Sarah’s womb was also dead.” What has God said to you? What has God promised to you? * What if someone turns away from God and says they “don’t believe anymore”. * What does it mean to “not giving up meeting together” in Hebrews 10:25? * Joyce wants to know if she should give up on promises.
* Kenrick asks about Jesus never leaving or forsaking us.

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
