A Better Sacrifice

Today is a special day on the Jewish calendar. It’s Yom Kippur. Let’s look at how Jesus fulfilled this sacrifice once and forever. The writer of Hebrews compares and contrasts those two sacrifices and what the “once and for all” sacrifice of Jesus did for us. But so often we miss the finished work of Christ and return to an Old Covenant mentality, not realizing our sins have been forgiven.
* How do we balance the sense of urgency with communicating the Gospel with feeling guilty for not doing enough to share the Gospel?
* What is Paul truly saying in Acts 18:6 – “Your blood be on your own heads! I am innocent of it. From now on I will go to the Gentiles”? * How can I help people understand that Jesus is God?

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life.
