“Who do you say I am?”

We’re talking about the 8 truths that every Christian needs to know. Those truths are the deity of Christ, the truth of God’s word, the promises of the New Covenant, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection, the purpose of the Law and freedom in God’s grace, your new identity, and faith, hope, and love – the marks of the Christian life. Jesus asks a very important question in Matthew 16:13-16 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” If we claim He is God, are we willing to cast all our cars on Him?
* If we cannot lose our salvation then what do we do with the scriptures like John 15:1-2? * If we’re raptured before the 7 years how does the 3 1/2 years work out.
* I’m having a very difficult time forgiving my wife after her affairs. How do I learn to trust her again?

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
