Stand Firm in God’s Perfect Love

All month long we’ve been talking about freedom. I don’t think we can talk about it enough, because everything in the world is designed to drive us back to slavery. Ephesians 6:10, 11 “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” When you’re truly free, you’re able to stand.
* When did the church start believing that when you died you immediately go to Heaven, Hell, or Purgatory?
* Can you please explain: 1 Timothy 5:11-12 in contrast to Colossians 1:23? One seems to say one can leave the faith and the other that one can’t be moved from the faith.
* Maria calls to talk about denying yourself, following Christ, and taking up your cross.
