The Very Presence of God

Pentecost really is the intersection of the Gospel and our daily lives. It’s a wonderful truth and so often it’s not taught. Acts 2:1-4 “When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”
* When Jesus said “if you deny me before men, I’ll deny you before the father”, does that apply to me?
* Is it right for me to be bothered when I hear pastors on the radio or behind the pulpit to describe what my Lord did on the Cross as atonement?
* Can you help me understand Hebrews 6? “Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death,[a] and of faith in God…”

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
