“Now This is Eternal Life…”

We’re talking about the finished work of Jesus Christ. It’s the one thing that can change everything in our lives. One phrase that sums it up is “It is finished.” In Hebrews 10 we find out what that really meant. Because Jesus shed His blood once and for all He has made us holy and perfect. In Jesus’ last few moments He goes to the garden to pray. He prays that eternal life be given to man. John 17:3 “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”
* If John the Baptist was unworthy to untie Jesus’ sandals how was the woman worthy to anoint His feet? * Eugene reminds us that Saints under the Old Covenant were waiting for Jesus.
* Anne understands that Jesus’ head linen wrappings were folded in the Jewish tradition to signify that He is coming back. * If Christ is in me why do I still have a heart to give in to sinful desires? * How do people obey the Gospel and what is the Gospel?

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
