“Why Do You Look for the Living Among the Dead?”

This Sunday Christians around the world will celebrate the single most important event in human history. In Luke 24:1-12 we read, “On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus…” So many reject the resurrection. But God is able to raise the dead and that’s the hope we have in Christ.
* Can you describe the Temple? And does “It is finished” refer to the destruction of the Temple?
* Isn’t it ironic that it wasn’t the disciples that witnessed the empty tomb but rather women?
* Marie describes her doubts and feelings of inadequacy. She has a hard time accepting her new identity in Christ. * Brad expresses thanks for Basic Gospels’ focus on resurrection life.

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
