“It Is Finished!”

I remember being in Israel and heading south to Jerusalem. We crested a hill and there was the city of Jerusalem. We were all so emotional realizing what happened there so many years ago. But what do Jesus’ words, “It is finished!” mean to you and me? The finished work ends our relation to the law. We don’t have to beg and hope and wait… we have forgiveness and salvation now and have been made a new creation.
* How do I relate to the Holy Spirit? Do I talk to the Holy Spirit like I talk to Jesus? * What if “It is finished” was only referring to sin that was put upon Him?
* If all our sins are all forgiven, why does the Scripture state that if we don’t forgive others, God won’t forgive us? * What are the 3 days in the earth?

About Basic Gospel

Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Bob grew up in a Christian home and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13. During his high school and college years, Bob struggled with the question of how to live the Christian life. His "roller-coaster" experience taught him that he didn't have what it took to be "God's guy." More info: https://basicgospel.net/about/bob-christopher/
