Interview with Jason Hillier

Today Richard welcomes Jason Hillier, his son-in-law and the Next Steps Director at Valley Creek Church in Flower Mound, TX – Jason shares how he came to know Christ and his journey to fully embrace the grace of God. He describes his salvation experience as more of a sunrise than a lightning bolt – it took years to really understand what it meant. Jason and the church leadership are passionate about communicating who we are in Christ. He says, “God the Father is very pleased with you.” He also says, “If we can help people learn that they are truly in Christ and that when God looks at them He sees Jesus, their lives will be radically changed.” As director of Next Steps, Jason says “What we teach in our new believer’s class is that it’s not a matter of a bad person becoming good, rather it’s a dead person becoming alive.”
